My Father-in-law passed away and we live out of town.  We were going to be in town for a few days so I reached out to Flat Price and told them what  I needed.  They gave me a quote and told me it would be no problem to pick it up in the few days I requested.

They showed up, loaded it up on a truck and it showed up at our house in a few days.

The only issue was they called the day before it arrived and said it would be the next evening or morning after, I got a call the same day saying it would be the next morning and  I wasn't prepared for that.  Luckily they let my neighbor sign for it and all was good. read less

However, using Flat Price was fantastic for the following reasons: customer service and efficiency. The customer service from Nick was friendly and kept me up-to-date on the status of the driver and our car delivery, the person who picked up/dropped off was also friendly and thorough. We received our car within 5 days moving from Seattle to Chicago. It was received in the exact same condition it left in. We felt the price was reasonable and fair.

My only problem was that I was flexible about my pickup date as long as my car arrived before my first day of work in my new location. My car arrived the night after my second day of work which was less than ideal. I understand that things happen (especially on freeways in the fall/winter), but getting to work without a car was a stress I'd hoped to avoid by scheduling pickup based on desired arrival date.

But the money I spent on Uber is much less than the money I'd've spent shipping the 100 lbs of belongings they allow you to put in your trunk, so really it all works out in the end. read less
