I just want to say that this company is excellent. Frank, you were outstanding, straight to the point...very bada bing, bada boom personality. you remind me of Tony Soprano. Everything that was said, was done and I liked that.

My beloved Corolla was in Los Angeles, and I wasn't about to drive it through the Rocky Mountains with my cat in tow and zero minutes of experience with driving in the snow.  That left only one option: Have a moving company transport the car for me.  

I requested quotes from several companies.  Flat Price not only got back to me right away, but their quote was the most competitive by at least a hundred dollars.  They did ask that we were flexible with the exact pick-up day since they work with sub-contractors and couldn't guarantee an exact day since it depended on other cars that were being moved and where they were going.  

On pick-up day, they arrived exactly where my car was, did an inspection on current dings, took a car key, and was off.  Even though my car was transported over Thanksgiving weekend, it arrived days before we did.  (Make sure to have a trusted family member or friend on the other end to receive the car.)  While my car needed a good wash after its adventure, there was no damage whatsoever.

Also, Bruce was my contact person, and he was readily available with information and status updates.

While I've had enough moving to last me a lifetime, I would definitely use Flat Price for auto shipping again if we had to move.  Highly recommended! read less

Flat Price didn't give me the lowest quote - it was actually one of the highest quotes, but it was worth it - Flat Price work with trustworthy truck drivers and they also have their own team of truck drivers, which means not having a driver to pick up the car at all (an unfortunate situation that happens very frequently) would not likely be an issue with them. Everything was done professionally - on both pickup and delivery, the drivers contacted me on the day of the appointment and kept in touch throughout the day about the exact time of their arrival. In the end, they were able to deliver my car to the destination two days before I arrived - it was such a relief to see my car parked at my new apartment. It isn't cheap to ship your car, but if this is the only way to do it, I'd highly recommend Flat Price Moving - it is worth the price.

P.S. There are a lot of horror stories online about shipping a car - fortunately I didn't personally experience that.  It is a disgrace that this industry is so messed up and filled with irresponsible agents who would provide unrealistic low quotes to earn the business and then ditch the customers. As customers, I think it is important that we try to use the legit and trustworthy companies such as Flat Price Moving so we can drive those irresponsible agents out of business! read less

Ultimately my decision was based on the reviews and reputation of the company, how responsive the company was, and their customer service level. I picked Flat Price Moving because they out-shined the other companies in these areas. For instance, Frank Feldesi was responsive and timely with all of his communications; he was patient and answered all of my numerous questions; and he was honest about the rates and what to expect. My car was delivered in great condition, it was picked up on time, and it was delivered on time - no issues. The driver, Raznan, was just as impressive. He kept in contact with me about the pickup and my son about the delivery,  and he also demonstrated great customer service. I absolutely recommend this company.  Thumbs up.

We moved our car and 2 rooms worth of personal belongings from the Midwest to the West coast. The car got here in 4 days!! The truck driver was pushy and didn't speak much English so it was hard to communicate with him but, hey, I paid for my car getting here reliably and quickly and I got exactly that.

Moving personal belongings was another great experience. Adrian and his co-worker were careful with each piece packed, they marked everything on a checklist and every single box/package had a barcode they put on with our name. Extremely professional. At the receiving end, we were given plenty of advance notice and Balsha the truck driver brought the stuff up and assembled whatever they had dis-assembled.

Through the entire process, representatives from Flat Price kept checking in and calling us, letting us know what the next step is and if there's anything else they could do. Completely professional.

One thing to note - and I encourage everyone who would use their services - be generous in your gratuity to your drivers/package handlers. Makes their day and you can see it 🙂

Overall , the 2500 mile journey for our personal belongings was completed in 1 week; the car was delivered in 4 days. Couldn't be happier! read less

However, they need a three-day window to pick up the car and when the time came they wanted to pick up car early on the first of three days, which because of my schedule I couldn't do. I called  up the mover, a different company, called AM Transporters and requested another time the next day. The lady said she would call me back, but at the end of the day, no call. Called Jim to complain and the next day I got an agreeable pick up time. The car was picked up  and delivered on time with no problems. read less

Jim and Dan are beyond awesome. This company moved my daughters household belongings and automobile from California to Louisiana. The company did have... read moreI recently used Flat Price Moving & Auto Shipping to ship my car from CA to FL.  I called them on the phone to arrange the shipping.  I was able to electronically sign all the necessary paperwork.  Their price was competitive.  The overall experience was very good.

The company did have some mechanical issues with the truck that was to pick up my car in CA.  As a result they did not pick up my car within the scheduled 3 day window.  They also did not call me to let me know they were having trouble.  They say they will call 1 day before they come to pick up so on the third day of the pickup window when I still had not received a call, I emailed Frank in their office.  Frank was who I originally worked with to arrange the shipping of my car.  Frank was very helpful in getting me a status update.  

The owner of the trunk company (not the driver of the truck) finally called me about 8 pm on the evening of the 3rd day of the pickup window to apologize for not contacting me sooner.  He said his driver could pick up the car by 10 pm but that was too late for us (we had plans out of town that night) so he offered to pick up the car the following morning.

They transported the car very quickly across the country (pick up on Sat morning, drop off on Thurs evening).

Overall, I would recommend this company.  They were helpful and worked with me even when I did not initially get calls from the driver to confirm pickup or to let me know they were running late.  The driver was very friendly and appeared to care about taking care of my car and safely transporting it across the country. read less

Kyle Orton was our representative, and he answered all of my questions and followed up with me when he said he would.  

The driver call us in advance for the pickup and for the delivery. He checked the car before loading it, and noted any marks on a report that we received.  The driver was also very professional and careful and when he loaded the car on the carrier.  

Our car was shipped from California to Ohio and arrived within the timeframe we were given.  The car was in good condition and there were no pricing or delivery surprises.  Kudos to Flat Price Moving for being reliable and honest about their service! read less

I located Flat Price using Yelp, and sent in the info.  I immediately got a call and email from Mike, and because of my work schedule we did all the business via email.  Within one day we had everything worked out.

The same night, I received a call that they could pick up the car that evening and I said yes.  That was a Thursday.  On the following Monday, my son in Los Angeles had the car delivered.  

I do not see how a business could do better.  Efficient, excellent communication, prompt, and great pricing. read less

The only shortcoming was that my car was filthy and had some oily substance on one side. That's what to expect when you decide against paying more to have your car enclosed. I worked with the associate to pinpoint the best date for my car to arrive so my spouse could expect the car as soon as possible. Not only did the car arrive on the same day my husband landed in town, it was in great shape and parked nicely at his destination. The driver who picked up my car was so polite and I was able to keep in touch with him via his cell phone so I could ask when the car was arriving. I dealt with (Chris Luccic) followed through with phone calls, emails, and texts. Our car was picked up on the scheduled day and 7 days later I received a call from the transport company telling me that it would be delivered the following day to our new address, which it was and in the same condition I left it in. As a plus, while the quote that Chris and I agreed on was for open transport, I later learned that it had been shipped enclosed because the company had a vacant space. read less
