The driver on the original trip didn't care if my son loaded up his Mazda 3, which I appreciated. However, on the return trip from Georgia to California the driver told my son it would be $100 because he had his TV and other items in the car.  I didn't question it because Flat Price did tell me it was a 100lb limit, and I believe we had over a 100lb.  It just seems like the driver wanted to make sure he got a tip. But the car did get to California in 3 days so that was good. I would use Flat Price again if I  needed to ship a car, they are very professional. read less

I submitted a quotation request on the Flat Price Auto website and promptly received a guaranteed all-inclusive quote from Frank Feldesi for $1325 (no charge to make a reservation). Frank was extremely responsive and transparent, and my interactions with him through e-mail and by phone were extremely pleasant. He answered all of my questions promptly, and when I decided to move forward with the transport, Frank immediately pushed my request forward. A day later, my transport request was assigned, and George from Aledi, LLC contacted me to work out a pickup time.

George reached out a day before and then an hour before he arrived. The pickup went extremely smoothly, and George was able to get as close to my house as possible (a couple blocks away, since I live on a small road through which the passage of a large autocarrier was difficult). The total transport time from CA to Atlanta, GA was 5 calendar days, which was great given the fact that Flat Price Auto told me it could take up to 10 business days. George contacted me the day before and then a couple hours before the drop off. My truck arrived in the exact same condition as when it was picked up, and George was extremely friendly.

Through the process, Frank at Flat Price Auto checked in with me to keep me posted on every step of the process. All-in-all, my experience with Flat Price Auto was entirely positive. While I had found other transport companies that offered cheaper quoted prices for my transport, none had the high ratings and overwhelmingly positive reviews that Flat Price Auto did. So while Flat Price Auto wasn't the cheapest option, they really made me feel confident that my truck was in good hands and would arrive quickly. With a company that is as transparent, reliable, professional, and friendly as Flat Price Auto, the extra price is definitely worth it. read less

I picked up my car in the same condition as I handed it over in, and I had zero issues.

They had exceptional service as well as exceptional customer service. Frank answered every single one of my calls when I called, or he got back to me within a few hours. I highly recommend this company, I will be a returning customer if I need to ship my car again!

Only downside is the price, but you definitely pay for what you get! Other companies put me on a list where I just received boat loads of emails or calls from random drivers, but Flat Price Auto Transport is extremely professional! read less

First and foremost, choosing a moving company (and car shipping company - they are all in one which was amazing) is a very daunting task (and expensive one) and failure to do your due diligence could result in significant regret. After doing adequate research via Yelp and BBB, and based on 100% positive review, I elected to choose Flat Price to ship my household goods and car. Here are my thoughts:

The quoted price was 100% what I paid with no hidden fees or surprises.

They were prompt, professional, and the timelines provided were accurate (in fact, they arrived one day earlier than their original ETA).

They provided periodic updates via text and email throughout the process as to keep me in the loop.

Sarah (customer service rep) was a pleasure to work with and was able to accommodate my inventory adjustments promptly (I probably updated the inventory list about 15x).

There were a few damaged goods (wine glasses, bowls, plates), but it was to be expected since these boxes just traveled 3K + miles in an 18 wheeler and of course there would be some shifting and bumps. The volume of broken items was nothing to be upset about. However, they did lose the screws to my coffee table so I was forced to go to Home Depot to acquire some new ones. When John from Flat Price called me, several days after my goods were delivered, he asked about my experience. I explained the above, but did not indicate in any way that I expected or wanted to be compensated for the above inconveniences. He immediately told me that he'd compensate me by crediting my account (direct to my CC) for $50! Awesome!

They provide free storage for one month after pick up of your household goods, which is incredibly convenient if you need to move suddenly, but need some lag time before your new home/apartment is available.

Overall, I would trust Flat Price with any move, big or small. They were incredibly professional, prompt, helpful and their customer service is top notch ($50 rebate which certainly exceeded my expectations). If you are in the market for a moving company (for auto or household shipping), look no further. I promise that you won't be disappointed.

Flat Price has their own drivers and I was able to get my car picked up the next day (a few hours before my flight). I was told to expect my car's arrival in 2 weeks which I was fine with, my husband sent his car by another company and his took two weeks to arrive. I got a call saying my car was ready for delivery after 4 days! Incredible I couldn't believe it! I had to confirm it was really my car and yup it was. I would definitely recommend them!! read less

Communication the whole time was fantastic. I was called, emailed, texed with options and updates throughout the whole experience. I couldn't have asked for a better shipping experience.

My drive Doston was fantastic. he called a day in advance, an hour before pick up then the same at the drop-off. Doston took tons of pictures before loading the car and documented every scratch, door ding and dirt on my car before loading it. Super impressed with the detail he took. No extra scratches or door dings when we go it in AZ!

When they couldn't get to my actual house to pick up the car (thank you tiny Brooklyn streets), they were very accommodating about the pickup time and paid for my Uber back to where I needed to go.

The car was delivered on time and in good condition, and I was called with a heads up the day before and a few hours before the car was dropped off at my address in LA.

All in all, it went very smoothly with very little stress.

What a great experience!  My girlfriend and I were both relocating across the country from NYC to San Jose, CA for work and we had a ton of stuff to do for the move.  I searched for a week before... read moreWhat a great experience!  My girlfriend and I were both relocating across the country from NYC to San Jose, CA for work and we had a ton of stuff to do for the move.  I searched for a week before I found Flat Price Auto Shipping, and if it wasn't for the helpful reviews from others on their horror stories using other shipping companies, I probably wouldn't have found them.  Since we were flying out I wanted my car to be out there when we landed since we wanted to look for apartments and get the lay of the land, and taking uber after uber would cost too much.  They gave me their 10 day guarantee and worked with me to give me a solid estimate of when my car would arrive, which originally was about 7 business days.  They allowed me to authorize my father to be there for pickup since I was unavailable.  They kept in contact with me via email about estimated delivery times and when I called about concerns my questions were always answered promptly.

My car actually got there early!  I was a little worried if there would be "hidden fees" since I was not there to pick it up but there were none.  In addition, they put my car in a secure lot right near the airport and gave me a contact number for when I was ready to pick it up.  And if that wasn't enough they even offered to reimburse me for an uber ride to go get it!  When I arrived I was in and out in 10 minutes!  Top notch company.  That is how you conduct business.  Use this place! read less
